Nappies these days come in many shapes and sizes and designs - the whole thing can be baffling to say the least! Here at Nappyzone we sell SHAPED, POCKET, FLAT and SWIM nappies.
SHAPED nappies are a similar principle to the terry square system however, with nappy evolution rather than folding and pinning as the name suggests these are shaped to fit around your babies bum to absorb the mess. Shaped nappies can me made of terry cotton, bamboo or micro terry and now the new Flexitot. They work as part of a two part system including the shaped nappy itself and a wrap that goes over the nappy to prevent wetness seeping through onto your babies clothing.
The shaped nappies Nappyzone sell are made of Bamboo or Micro terry. Bamboo is a natural material offering high absorbency and natural antibacterial properties though with a slower drying time. Micro terry also offers good absorbency and being a man made fabric this dries more quickly. The choice you make is largely down to your personal preferences.

POCKET NAPPIES
Pocket nappies are made from a stay-dry inner layer that touches your baby skin and a waterproof outer so no need for a wrap. The pocket of the nappy is stuffed with an absorbent insert. The pocket is stuffed after laundering and then it is there ready to put on as one piece, when it is soiled you simply remove the inner and wash the two pieces together but separate - having the two parts separate speeds up the drying time.
